productionART theatre and events is a production company specifically set up to support and inspire regional arts practise. Based in country NSW, we have recognised a real need for creative practical production support to develop professional work in regional areas.
This company is not solely developed to work with professional companies , but also to support, mentor and assist regional communities and community groups to develop events, festivals and productions. The creative arts is core to a healthy society and positive living. Our mission is to contribute to the regional communities we engage with to practically support and promote this.
Who are we? We are two regional theatre and event professionals that have over 50 years experience between us. We are;
Becky Russell – a theatre and events professional with extensive experience in artistic, technical and project direction. She has focused her career in regional Australia, working on countless productions, festivals and community projects in a variety of roles including; artistic director, project director, event mentor, as well as providing technical and production support for regional artists and communities.
Brendan Napier – a sound and video specialist with advanced skills in technics and making the impossible, possible. As well as working as a theatre technician, Brendan has worked freelancing throughout Sydney as a live music sound engineer as well as 10 years at Sony Studios Sydney – shooting, editing and creating content.
